You're indebted. Urindebted to us.
They'll own you not just figuratively/a frightened theme, so frightening.
Distorted protection of ugly property over people power.
Just piss trickling down the economic schemes for fiends/I'm the boot/ a cannibal licking my own feet/ I'm no one really, serving a venomous beast.
Priceless privilege to drink the waste of the ruling class, please.
Upholding an empty haughty laugh. Jokes on me, blue lives don't exist. I'm a literal ghost within a seizing machine/a cycle of pain so empty.
Fuck me with the baton of patriotism gone wrong, my shame is paralysis/I deflect from my ignorance. Attacking the depressed and the oppressed on camera (erect)/ Small person in the form of an officer, repressed.
I'm serving a venomous beast.
So much anger and anguish on which to feast.
You're indebted. Urindebted to us.
Too lost to see I'm degraded by the badge cuz I'm so busy being fucking glad/ happy for you to hate me/ Smug in the cowardly upper hand.
I'm indebted to you.
Social assets of a sociopath/cashing in, calling for caste systems. hating on beautiful two-spirits/ignorance as acidic wrath.
A bigoted cultural capital offense in the guise of self-defense/ boiled down to a war on queer context.
Unrepentant corporations are standing by and you're all the dumping ground for a tired tentpole franchise/ regurgitation abounds.
Revoke the vomited animal spirit/ don't get too close to it.
Eyes melting from the inside out as the same plotlines decide for you a narrow view/ You're never breaking on through to the other side, never you.
Just a smoother bumpy ride where you'll still slowly die inside/ Maggot feast for the executive class/ throwing heroics at your gullible ass, to see what sticks. The mirror cracks.
I'm the sharp edge of creative glass!
Cutting inter-related systems of oppression, a fascist binary/facades of respectability/The wider truth aint lost on me. Why can't you see you're willfully ignorant?
Once more "check the diagram of history to see how we can motivate exponentially."
A cultural capital offense.
about
The new 2 song 'Urindebted' release from Walking Bombs is a collaboration between project founder Morgan Y. Evans and musician/engineer Garry Brents. It is an examination of apathy, authoritarianism and upholding negative systems.
"The central theme between these tracks is people upholding toxic power systems who don't even really benefit from them past a point," says Evans. "I mean, don't get me wrong. Shitty white cops benefit from privilege. Terfs think they benefit from keeping trans folx down, but that is a lie. Trickle down economics however never sends anything really nourishing down but lots of piss from the upper class laughing at the expense of the peasants/worker class, for example."
"I wanted to work with Garry because he is a studio and songcraft genius and I love the excitement and innovation he brings to all his bands. He also understood the Skinny Kornflesh dystopian vibes I was going for very well, being a mutual fan of records like 'Us and Them, 'Untouchables' or 'Last Rights'," Evans continues. "Hopefully we do more together in the future!"
"The title 'Urindebted' is not about kink shaming or something, rather about how you might think you get something from kissing up to the powers that be but it is really them degrading you and insulting your intelligence for possibilities outside their narrow, repressive, exploitative/fake populist hellscape," says Evans. "From the bootlicker working class cops developing power complexes and sexual dysfunction to people who uphold shitty reboots of a tentpole wizard franchise that extends the cultural capital of one of the biggest and most toxic Terfs in the world at the expense of a more inclusive society. Reboots that benefit a bigot, instead of new ideas."
"The artwork has a hidden looming church intimidating people with shame and a Demiflux trans flag, a boot and some antifa graffiti from Germany," say Evans. "Plus myself in front of 'capitalism kills' graffiti (with my Klaus Nomi appreciation lipstick on) a block up the street from Saint Vitus Bar. This is the same photo Mark from Chimaira shared to his fans online to bully me for calling him out for being bigoted to queer people. Also underneath all the glitchy data is an alchemical urine jar, cuz we can still transform society."
